Just a handful of customers in on a Saturday afternoon.

Very quiet. Big beer range for small audience. Other pumps in use but not noted.
| Mauldons - Black Adder | 5.30 | | Tight creamy head on a full bodied, roasty stout. Smooth, dry finish. |
| Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Jaipur | 5.90 | | Disappointing score. Some fruity hops on the nose but rich and cloying in the mouth. Could have been better served cooler. Maybe 2.1/2* really. |

Lively. Great service from enthusiastic staff.
| Oakham - Amarillo | 4.20 | | Light golden ale. with zesty flavours throughout. Hints of spice follow through to dry hoppy finish. Well crafted showcase for a single hop. |
| BrewDog - 77 Lager (keg) | 4.90 | | Served colder than its cask equivalent this had all the qualities of unpasteurised Czech beer. Plenty of body and lingering hops. |
| BrewDog - Trashy Blonde | 4.10 | | Lacking in punch and flavour this may have been the end of the cask. |

Just ticking over before Christmas.
| Castle Rock - Black Gold | 3.50 | | Full bodied dark mild with a touch of bitterness. Complex for its strength which is now 3.8%. |
| Castle Rock - Harvest Pale | 3.80 | | Very hoppy blonde beer with a crisp finish. Excellent balance from lightly roasted malt. Ideal session ale. |
| Leeds - Ale Mary | 4.50 | | December special pours a deep red. Dominated by chocolate there's not much balance any other flavours being unrecognisable. |
