Fresh, hoppy and moreish. Nelson Sauvin really shone through.

Jennings (since closure now brewed at Marston's) - Ward's Best Bitter

After a bit of research this is now brewed by Robinsons. Golden brown. Ripe fruits run through this beer. Sweet smooth malt. Nice but syrupy, possibly a touch sickly as a session beer.

Gone is the lactic taste replaced by rich roasted grain. Jet black in the glass with long lasting dark beige head. Long dry finish. A superb reminder of what Guinness could be.
Woodforde's - Wherry

Disappointing. On this form another dull brown beer. Little body/flavour - maybe tired.

A deep ruby red easy drinking stout with long lasting beige head. Hints of chocolate and roast grain but only hints. Too thin to be stout.
Yard of Ale - Spring Triple Tipple

Light straw coloured and served in good condition. Described as 'massively hopped' this example tasted thin and bland with only hints of hops and light malt.
