Busy with post Boro match drinkers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Jennings (since closure now brewed at Marston's) - Ward's Best Bitter4.00GoodAfter a bit of research this is now brewed by Robinsons. Golden brown. Ripe fruits run through this beer. Sweet smooth malt. Nice but syrupy, possibly a touch sickly as a session beer.

Surprisingly quiet.
BeerABVScoreNotes
RCH - Old Slug Porter4.50ExcellentGone is the lactic taste replaced by rich roasted grain. Jet black in the glass with long lasting dark beige head. Long dry finish. A superb reminder of what Guinness could be.
Woodforde's - Wherry3.80AcceptableDisappointing. On this form another dull brown beer. Little body/flavour - maybe tired.
07 May 2010 (McGargle)
Surprisingly quiet for a Friday night but quick, pleasant service. Yard of Ale mini-beer festival was just winding down.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Yard of Ale - Black as Owt4.20AcceptableA deep ruby red easy drinking stout with long lasting beige head. Hints of chocolate and roast grain but only hints. Too thin to be stout.
Yard of Ale - Spring Triple Tipple4.20AcceptableLight straw coloured and served in good condition. Described as 'massively hopped' this example tasted thin and bland with only hints of hops and light malt.
