Just after noon Friday lunchtime. Found this by accident. Very traditional pub. Pleasant, half a dozen drinkers in and some eaters starting to arrive. Very reassuring that pubs like this continue to thrive. Interesting - Monday evenings have a session for speaking other languages e.g. “2nd Monday - Portuguese”.

This pub closes between 16:00 and 19:00 hours which is the period thst I normally pass this house so I made a special effort to get here before the afternoon bell. A good atmosphere in here today and well worth the effort. Busier than usual as the nearby Guildhall was closed because of a funeral.

Banks's - Ringwood Fortyniner4.90Not TriedTaken off sale when pulled for another customer as the bar staff were not happy with it. On inspection the cask had a few gallons left but it remained off sale. Good.

Fully booked for food this Fathers' Day lunchtime, I found a small table that was laid out for food and sat and enjoyed my pint.

20:30 visit. Last call today, my 14th pub, but still fairly fresh! Good crowd of diners and drinkers in. The fish menu looks worthy of a return at some point soon...

Oddly never my favourite pub in Folkestone as not open when I normally pass early evening. Cod and chips looked fantastic.

A brilliant pub, lovely, friendly atmosphere. We even got given a plate of roast spuds, parsnips and pork crackling and a piece of birthday cake, doesn't get much better than that. Lovely stuff! Great afternoon, would recomend the pub to anyone!
BeerABVScoreNotes
Mordue - Radgie Gadgie4.80ExceptionalA lovely light ale with a subtle malty flavour. Top marks from me.
