Dark brown strong bitter with a bitter citrus hop character. Some dark malt flavour. My score 14/20 with B for quality as served too cold and lacking condition.

30 May 2012 (Stephen Harris)
My first visit to this large pub. No sign of the forthcoming in-house brewery. Although six handpumps held clips, it seemed that only one handpumped beer was available, the others all coming from the stillage to the rear. In all, nine beers were available; I did not note all their names. We tried several between us and overall were rather disappointed with the quality.
