The pub is found in North Fambridge, Essex, CM3 6LR.
An attractive, weather-boarded, fifteenth century, riverside pub in Ferry Road. The ferry over the River Crouch has not operated for a great many years, but this pub continues to serve the village as well as yachting types and ramblers. It is a multi-roomed house, with a modern conservatory extension. The tiny public bar has a York stone floor and the rooms off are low-ceilinged with wooden beams. Grade II listed and had a massively expensive upgrade in 2021.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
