No frills old fashioned proper pub, late afternoon lively and buzzing around the bar so we took advantage of the empty rear bar.

A nice, old-style pub, with a lively local crowd in at lunchtime.

A highly traditional pub in Whiting Street that is not quite the brewery tap for Greene King, but is within sight of the brewery buildings. Two separate rooms. Cosy atmosphere with wooden beams and well-matured furniture.
