15:30 Had the pub to ourselves. Cracking multi-roomed interior, shame the beer choice wasn't more exciting. Nice to see a bar billiards table.

After the Lower Red Lion and the Farmer's Boy, my favourite pub in St Albans. Fantastic interior even when there were only 1 or 2 customers in.

In the Sopwell Lane area south of the town centre that is rich with pubs. Central square bar serves a number of rooms. Lots of wood panelling and wooden screens, sofas and wood tables. Patio area to the rear.
