20:15 Evening meal stop. Good food, good beer, good Landlord. There was a group of ex-soldiers standing at the bar literally exchanging war stories. The longer part of the L shape was hosting a group having a Christmas dinner. We went back the next morning to photograph the carriage and whilst we were there Father Christmas turned up driving a small black sports car, he greeted us and then went into the pub. Very odd.

The pub is found in Sompting, West Sussex, BN15 0AR.

Large brick built pub with an L shaped bar. The most notable feature is a British Rail carriage less its bogies attached to one end of the pub. The end nearest the bar has a ladies and gents toilet in it but the rest is now used for storage. Originally it was used as restaurant.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
