The pub is found in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 1UY.
Famous coaching inn situated on Wyle Cop. Grade 1 listed the hotel is steeped in history and boasts a list of former noted guests including Charles Dickens. The entrance boasts a classic revolving door and to the left of this entrance is the small cosy public bar called the Oak Room. As the name suggests the room is lined with oak panelling. The small servery has working screens that are lowered at close of business.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
