We arrived a few minutes after 5pm opening time and stayed for a number of pints. I was sitting with my back to the beer list so I have only listed the beer that I drank. A superb pub.

Three of us met here at opening time for a couple of pints each. A very enjoyable visit, we chatted with a micropub enthusiast from Worthing.

We arrived just after 12pm and already another customer here soon joined by 3 others. Visit was unplanned as we'd decided to catch the 195 or E8 short bus ride from Brentford station and am glad we did, my first visit and I was impressed, great relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We originally arrived at about 12:30 to find the shutters down and Lucy outside with an emergency locksmith. It turned out that the locksmith could not help as the problem was that the electricity supply had tripped out inside the pub and needed resetting, the only problem being that she could not get inside to reset the supply. We ended up going for a beer elsewhere and returning about 90 minutes later to find the premises just about open and Lucy still doing the cleaning. She tried to give us our drinks free of charge for our inconvenience but we thought it only fair to pay for them and after some discussion a buy one get one free compromise was reached. A proper micropub with a great atmosphere, ticks all the boxes, Lucy was very pleased to have received a couple of Camra awards recently.

Quiet with only half a dozen people in. However, very friendly welcome and good chat being had amongst the regulars.

Early evening. Although only open a short time, this little pub seems already to be at the heart of the local community. I liked it a lot. I wish people would start opening these kind of places in East London.

Four of us met here for a tour of the area, it was pleasing to note that the pub opened punctually at 12:00. We had a good chat with Lucy the landlady.

Friday afternoon and just one other customer but soon became busy. The cask Mariana Trench was extremely popular but not to my taste.

Evening until 10.30pm close. Beaten to the post by ChrisE by a day or two. Very friendly classic Micropub run by a charming and knowledgeable couple.

Thursday lunchtime, I arrived at exactly 12:00 as the pub was opening and had a good chat with the landlady who told me that she got the idea to open her own micropub after visiting the Just Reproach in Deal.
