15:00 One of only two current GBG entries in Hereford so I thought a visit would be in order. Reasonably busy in all areas. Difficult to see the beers as the barflies were blocking the pumps.

Wooden floors and wooden tables - a basic no frills main bar.
Good friendly atmosphere with many midday drinkers.
A selection of the older regulars and younger passing trade.
Friendly and helpful bar staff serving a large selection of Wye Valley beers - in fact more than noted in the review. I will be back to fill in the blanks!

The pub is found in Hereford, Herefordshire, HR1 2JQ.
Formerly The Lamb, a basic no frills drinkers' pub operated by Wye Valley Brewery in St Owen Street - at first glance it is hard to see why it has won so many awards - until you look at the bar..... the length of the main bar is lined with handpumps providing the whole variety of Wye Valley Brewery beers and at a very reasonable price. Until recently the brewery was located behind the pub before it moved to larger premises.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 7 different beers and tried 2 of them.
