Lounge bar is now signed as The Brentwood Bar but locals still refer to Carriages so I'll stick with that. Plenty of national blands available - not much to excite though.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Swannay (formerly Highland) - Christmas Light3.80GoodTypical Highland malt bill and yeast with some subdued hopping produces a lower strength version of St. Magnus.

The pub is found in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, AB11 6HH.

Carriages is the basement lounge bar attached to the Brentwood Hotel in Crown Street. The lounge is comfortable and is a haven for those wanting a quiet beer. It has a long standing commitment to real ale with up to 10 hand pumps in use. Unfortunately the selection tends to be unadventurous majoring on national brands but does stock some local ales too..

We have visited this pub 11 times, seen 39 different beers and tried 13 of them.
