16:25 Last stop before the train home. Has the air of a slightly up-market Spoons. In the current GBG. I had a good pint but my drinking companions were not so lucky.

20:00 visit. Not too busy and a small selection of ales on in this much improved City pub. One pump had just run out too.

The pub is found in Manchester, Greater Manchester, M1 2BS.
Large City Centre pub on the main thoroughfare twixt Piccadilly Station and Piccadilly Gardens. Different areas in the cavernous interior include stool seating and tables/chairs for dining/relaxing. The food menu is adequate and good value menu. Opens early for breakfasts, and very busy on matchdays with doorman on duty at most times.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 8 different beers and tried 2 of them.
