Evening visit enticed by seeing pumpclips on the two handpumps through the window. On closer inspection each had an upturned plastic glass on the top of the pump handle and bar staff intimated they had had no deliveries for 2 or 3 months. A hastened departure ensued.

Evening visit to this newly re-opened and re-named pub. I think the prices (£4.55pp for cask) will have the effect of deterring previous customers for newly enriched ones.

The pub is found in Catford, Greater London, SE6 4BD.
Recently called the Ninth Life, Goose on the Green and then Goose Catford which reverted back to its original name after refurbishment and a re-opening in late November 2014. Unexpectedly closed early April 2024 but promises some new venture here which eventually re-opened with yet another new name at the end of May 2024. Says it now has two bars and Mrs Lee providing food for Asian flavours, mainly Korean. No real ale.
