What has been done to this once fine beer? Almost tasteless.

Mid Sunday evening - I think there were some in the restaurant but the bar was empty. Five staff idling around did not add to the ambience - nor did the two out of three pump clips turned round - although these did come on later after the pipes were cleaned (rinsed through?) for about 10 minutes.

Good condition and a pleasant enough maltiness - but lacked body for a 4.5 in my view.

Popped in with some work buddies for a quick half at lunch. Fairly busy with folk having lunch.

Bit tired with a slighly stale maltmarmite bite to it. Drinkable though.

Came at lunch time and had a half. Sat in the garden at the rear with lots of other office workers and some kids. Nice view of carpark

Started off well with plenty of bitterness well complemented by the hops but dropped off to a kind of warm bath water.

Too cold but at least it had that fresh hoppy malt combination that characterised Adnams of old.
Large corporate pub on the edge of Canterbury in New Dover Road. Lots of tables to seat large groups. 20p per pint CAMRA discount available here on cask ales.
We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 4 of them.
