Have they finally caught on? Big sign outside saying Real Ale, for the best part of 10 years I have only ever seen Master brew on offer here.

12:15 I have walked by many times but never been in. However, my son had a flyer for the pub posted through his letterbox so I thought I had better have a look. New tenants took over four weeks ago. Long time Shepherd Neame Landlord and his French partner who both made me very welcome. A proper pub.

A corner pub on Sandling Road, The Dragoon dates back to the 1900s and has strong links with the armed forces, not least because of the Army camp that used to be up the road. Reported set to close on 19th January 2022 with the property for sale too.
