After work, at a time when the drinking part of the pub is very much busier than the dining area. Mild enough for people to be in the garden.

I came here in the late-afternoon to partake of the beer festival, the beers mostly being set up on a stillage in the back bar area. Not too crowded in the conservatory, where I found a few familiar faces. But by early evening it was over-crowded and I moved on. Too many beers to list them all here, so just a selection named.
Salopian - Treasure Trove | 4.00 | | A golden-coloured beer, loaded with Citra hops for a yummy, fruity taste. |
Kirkby Lonsdale - Jubilee Stout | 5.50 | | My favourite of the day – a very full-on, black, roasted stout. |
Skinner's - Royal Wave | 4.40 | | A smooth, hoppy and fruity beer. |
Downton - Jubilation Ale | 4.20 | | A heavily-hopped brown bitter. Lots of different hops in the mix leading to an overall bitter taste. |
Westerham - British Bulldog "BB" (was 4.3%) | 4.10 | Not Tried
Leeds - Jubilee IPA | 4.80 | Not Tried
Windsor & Eton - Kohinoor Jubilee Commonwealth Indies Pale Ale | 4.50 | Not Tried

Early afternoon and busy with diners. Good to know beer still plays an important part here instead of a sideline.
