Full of dripping drinkers sheltering from a July downpour. A busy Saturday lunchtime. I like this pub a lot.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentOn cracking form, almost 5 stars.Real depth, bursting with malt and the ineffable Harveys yeast.
St Austell - Tribute4.20Not Tried

The pub was at the centre of Wadhurst's annual Scarecrow Festival, with a good stream of drinkers and diners. An L shaped bar, with inglenook and dartboard, a seperate room to the left laid up for dining. A large attractive garden at the back. Good pub.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hop Back - Summer Lightning5.00ExcellentThe original (for me) Pale 'n'Hoppy, and as good as it ever was. Plenty of bite from the Challengers and Goldings, with an underlying malt body.
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00GoodGood as ever, but served too cold.
