12:00 visit. Spur of the moment decision to visit West Malling. Been some 5-6 years since my first visit to this pleasant suberb/village. This GK led pub was nothing special, but friendly and full of local "characters"..Two big log fires crackling away were a welcoming sign of a long winter coming on this chilly, wet day.

Busy on a Friday lunchtime with all the tables in use, many for food. Good pub. Found a comfy high backed wooden chair in one of the smaller rear rooms and enjoyed the building.

The pub is found in West Malling, Kent, ME19 6NE.
Lovely building in the middle of the High Street. Many drinking areas/rooms served by a large central bar. Low ceilings, original exposed beams and brickwork and stripped floorboards add to the ambience. Usual Greene King range of beers. 8 handpumps in all but usually only the ones in the front bar counter in use.
We have visited this pub 10 times, seen 5 different beers and tried 4 of them.
