Saturday afternoon, the right hand bar was full so we ventured in to the room on the left which none of us had been in before. Very good service here, there was a good range of Fullers/Gales beers available.

Very busy but service was immediate and welcoming, we eventually managed to get seats by splitting in to two smaller groups. I have not listed all the beers that were on offer but I think there was either ESB or HSB on offer.

Afternoon visit and absolutely packed in all areas but service was speedy and friendly. Good to see this pub really busy. I did not note all the beers on offer but I think they were all from the Fullers/Gales range plus a guest from Flowerpots.

Ah the Wykeham Arms. We managed to get a school desk seat after a bit. The pub was very busy and atmospheric.

What a great pub. Busy at lunchtime with drinkers in the front bar and diners in the multitude of rooms to either side.

We sat at one of the school desks and enjoyed our beer, I knew that I had seen the chap drinking at the bar somewhere before, but it was not until he had gone that I remembered he was the bloke who turned up once at the Village in Salisbury with lots of delicious pies from a pie shop in Reading.

Early afternoon visit, and the lunchtime trade was starting to move on, and being replaced by those just wanting a quiet drink. The pub's hotel trade seemed to be doing very well with several guests checking in while we were in the bar.
