Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Westerham - Grasshopper Kentish Bitter | 3.80 | I love this beer, ridiculously drinkable. | |
York (now brewed by and at Black Sheep) - Centurion's Ghost Ale | 5.40 | Top notch ale. | |
Frome (formerly Milk Street) - Zig Zag Stout | 4.50 | Very nice stout. | |
Dark Star - Imperial Stout | 10.50 | What possessed me to get a full pint of this I'll never know, don't remember finishing it. Do remember starting it though and it was lovely. | |
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Silver Top | 4.50 | Looks a little like the copper top. Equally delicious. | |
Brew Wharf - Top To Bottom 69 Hop Ale | 5.40 | Really nice hoppy pale ale, although for the world record holder in hoppiest beer, it wasn't all that hoppy really. | |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Double IPA | 9.00 | Fantastic. | |
Abigale - Samphire | 4.10 | Biscuity bitter, very nice beer but I'll admit I had high expectations and they were not quite met. | |
WharfeBank - Wispa IPA | 5.10 | Chocolatey beer. I remember it being fairly tasty. | |
Kent - Black Gold | 4.00 | Not bad, a little bland though. |
Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Bock | 6.00 | I don't like bocks as a general rule. Black, excellent condition, risen, overcooked omelet, sourness, got that vacant lager body but even so superb. | |
Frome (formerly Milk Street) - Zig Zag Stout | 4.50 | Fruity, smoky, zingy roasted stout. | |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Double IPA | 9.00 | I don't like double IPAs as a rule. What an excellent double IPA. No HCl on the finish. | |
Quantock - Wills Neck | 4.30 | Light fresh passion fruit. Thanks to Chris for this. | |
Toad - The Davinci Toad | 5.50 | Mahogany. Hint of fruit, bit of cardboard | |
Kent - Pale | 4.00 | Golden yellow. Darkstar-ish. Cross between Darkstar Hophead and American Pale | |
Purple Moose - Dark Side of the Moose | 4.60 | Ahhh, lacking in condition. Mahogany toasted some biscuit malt , bit of alcohol. | |
Green Jack - Trawlerboys Best Bitter | 4.60 | Brown. Slightly metallic, Some fruit, hint of biscuit. | |
Kent - Black Gold | 4.00 | Kent Pale with caramel? Not in great condition. | |
Farriers Arms - 1606 | 3.70 | Been looking forward to this. Eggy aroma, eggy flavour. | |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Low & Behold | 2.80 | Dark coloured. American hops and burnt sugar dominated. |
