Around mid day and I wanted something to eat so I came in here and had a meal that included a drink. A very pleasant Spoons, service at the bar was good and friendly and it was not too busy. There were the usual cask ales and a fair selection of guests from the current festival offering.

| Tillingbourne - Evolution No 3 | 5.50 | | Pump clip said "Epic full on IPA style Hop monster - only for the most hardcore hop enthusiast". I did not think the taste reflected the description. Could have been hanging around a bit too long. |

Fairly busy late on a Thursday afternoon, but efficient service and plenty of room meant that there was no trouble getting a table and food arrived promptly.
