Cam and I had driven out to the Black Horse (the Caythorpe Brewery tap) and the Marquis of Granby (the Brewsters brewery tap) and found both closed!!! ...so we came back home and went to the three crowns instead.
BeerABVScoreNotes

England were playing in the world cup so we popped in and got a take-out of 4 pints of mild and then later, 4 pints of EPA. Both were way too cold but still fantastic. The pub looks like a modern bar and when we visited later (after a great Thai next door) it was full of trendy types. Great beer line up and quality.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Nottingham - Extra Pale Ale4.20ExceptionalNottingham beers have a core taste combination of malt and hops that's recognisable throughout their range. This EPA was as good as any I've drunk before, if a little cold
Nottingham - Rock Mild3.80ExceptionalWonderful. Pear and peach flavours to start with quickly followed by burnt toffee and rich syrup. The finish was good and bitter
Adnams - Broadside4.70Not Tried
Everards (see entries against Joule's & Robinsons whilst its new brewery was being built) - Tiger4.20Not TriedCam tried this and it was fairly bland. Must have been bottom of the barrel as it's usually great
Lincolnshire Craft (formerly Tom Wood's) - Bomber County4.80Not Tried
