We moved on to here, partly because the pub had tweeted that their toilets were open for customer use - unfortunately, it turned out that they were not. Two long queues and the whole of London Fields alongside for socially-distanced drinking. We left after one as it did become very crowded.

Five Points - Jupa5.50ExcellentFresh and juicy. Quite a low temperature, so may have been from key-keg. It can be hard to tell when you can't see the bar where it is being served.

Afternoon and fairly quiet, the only cask beer on offer produced a pint of foam and hence run out as did we.

Big Penny (formerly Truman's) as of late 2022 contract brewed - Treason4.50ExcellentA ‘dry-hopped red’ – just the sort of thing I like. The sweet tang of malt and the bitter rasp of hops.

We fled here from the London’s Brewing Festival for a recuperative pint out on the decking overlooking the park. It was a bit chilly though in the mid-evening, so we soon moved on.

The pub is found in Hackney, Greater London, E8 3PE.

This pub was originally called the Queen Eleanor and was present here by 1851. It was a Truman’s Brewery pub and was surrounded by houses until the night of 21 September 1940, when the area was devastated by enemy bombing. It now stands a little isolated between the railway line and the parkland of London Fields. Renamed the Pub on the Park in 1992, there is a large, single bar and very extensive areas of outside decking with park views.

We have visited this pub 7 times, seen 20 different beers and tried 6 of them.
