Very busy on a mid Sunday afternoon,but we secured a table in the bar.A prosperous,youngish trade.

Evening. Quiet - only 2 others in. Only one handpump had a beer on - the other three had sold Cotleigh beers which had run out.

The pub is found in Shoreham, Kent, TN14 7RY.

In Church Street in a dog leg bend in the road. Outside wall announces circa AD 1500. At one time a Style & Winch house. Reported spring 2021 as closed - all windows whitewashed over and interior stripped bare. Reopened spring 2022, on 2nd April 2022, with new name and re-invigorated new format. The pub is now named after Samuel Palmer, a 19th century landscape painter, who lived in Shoreham and some of his works are displayed on the walls inside.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 3 of them.
