Late Sunday evening visit. Not exactly empty, but spared the mad central Newcastle crowds of Friday or Saturday evenings.

Late evening visit. The pub is busy, but, unlike most of its neighbours, it does not have a door policy or a queue to get in on a Saturday night. Robert and I sit at the bar talking beer, or perhaps it was the beer that was talking. One or the other.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Out There - Celestial Love5.10GoodA red ale.
Tavernale - Bishop's Daughter4.10GoodDescribed as a Porter, but we both think it tastes like an Oatmeal Stout!

An excellent, revamped pub in the busy Quay district. As well as a couple of good new beers, I also enjoyed my Haddock & Chips lunch.
BeerABVScoreNotes
