Mid day on a windy post Christmas Thursday: we'd come to meet our son and his partner.Pleasantly busy, with much comings and goings. Disappointing beer range today.

Lunchtime visit to this delightful, thatched pub on Fulbourn’s short high street. A noticeably friendly welcome. Nice to sit by a real fire.

17:00 Break on our journey from Kent to Norfolk. Both bars busy. Good feel to the place. We both agreed "a proper pub".
