Afternoon visit, absolutely superb atmosphere with table service, comfortable upholstered bench seating, and people playing dominoes in a wonderfully unspoilt proper boozeer. I have only listed the beers that we drank.

Afternoon, my first visit after hearing good reports over the years and I was not disappointed, in fact we stayed far longer than planned and enjoyed the superb atmosphere.

My first visit here and I was very impressed. A group that we had seen earlier in the day were talking even more loudly than a certain member of our group, it was good to see him drowned out but pleasantly quiet when they left. Table service was in operation. A great pub well worth visiting.

15:15 First visit for some of our group, they were impressed. Table service was in operation. The lounge side was just occupied by us and one other group who had also been in Stamps Too. One of our party is noted for having a rather loud voice, a member of the other group drowned him out.
