Friday afternoon, I had intended to have a pint in the nearby Balham Bowls Club but I found that I was too early for the 4pm opening and came here. A good welcoming and relaxing pub at this time of day. I treated myself to one of the excellent sausage rolls that were on display. There were other beers on offer in addition to the ones that I have listed.

18:15 Last stop of the day. One of our party made the mistake of opening the doors of a vintage sideboard only to find they were no longer attached. Re-balancing them was taxing.

The pub is found in Balham, Greater London, SW12 9AU.
First converted to a pub in Balham High Road from a shop in 1997 this was taken over and renamed by Antic in 2013. Two levels. Furnished with the usual Antic vintage selection. The remnant of a Victorian bar back on the wall high above the bar is noteworthy. Transferred from Antic to Urban Pubs & Bars in late summer 2024.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 10 different beers and tried 2 of them.
