21:00 and a few in. Two years since my last visit, and 'clocked', straight away by three, noisy, well tanked up old faces from the good (bad) ol' days....! This place is noticeably much brighter and smarter, since its refurbishment.

A former insurance office that is now a large two-storey pub badged as a Lloyds No 1. Quieter upstairs but may not be open at all times. Closed late 2023 for a refurbishment re-opening Sunday 12th December 2023.
