First pub of the Larkin's tour. Lovely. Old English country pub with a courtyard front patio garden - in which we sat.

Busy on a cold February Saturday evening,with drinkers and diners.We'd come for a meal with the family and sat in a little alcove off the main bar.

Weatherboard and sandstone pub in Coldharbour Road, in an elevated rural location between Fordcombe and Penshurst. Refurbished in a sympathetic manner with an impressive copper bar top. Tables mainly laid up for dining.
