Indifferent town centre pub, it was most refreshing to be in a much noisier group with us drowning out false cackling laughter from a seated herd of Essex's finest! We were ushered into a separate room with orders taken which led to a rather inefficient service.

Lunchtime on a springlike March Saturday.Popular with families, groups and drinkers.We sat at a table by the window and discussed pension prospects.
