Only half the pub in use due to building works but plenty of room for all.
Evan Evans - Buckley's Best | 4.00 | | Amber coloured malty bitter. Biscuity malt with some hop in the finish. My score 15/20. |

Free tasters on offer for a Tetley replacement to be brewed by Leeds Brewery.
Leeds - Midnight Bell | 4.80 | | Strong dark mild with a bittersweet malty flavour with hints of dark chocolate. Full bodied with some fruit in the finish. My score 15/20. |

Bit of a walk around the canal and the like but we got there eventually. Umm, mixed vote on this one. Depending on your disposition it was either, "cold and clinical", or, "young and trendy". Guess which one I thought it was. Still the staff were pleasant and it was fairly relaxed.
Leeds - Funfair | 3.60 | | Pale gold, peppery hop, light and citrusy. |

Leeds's first pub, situated on water lane, next to the Cross Keys. Two floors, with a large courtyard out back for al fresco drinking in the summer. Can get busy at office chucking-out time! Food served, and dogs welcome. Leeds Pale and Midnight Bell on, plus two rotating guest beers at all times. A decent bottled beer range also.
Leeds - Leeds Pale | 3.80 | | On good form, refreshing and fruity. |
Bristol Beer Factory - Red | 3.80 | | Decent enough malty best bitter; with a slightly smoky malt note underlying. |
Bristol Beer Factory - Sunrise | 4.40 | | Golden in colour, with a massive citrussy nose from the hops. Decent session beer. |
