Walked up the Lim to the pub. Across fields and down lanes. Arrived not long after it opened. Sat in the garden/yard.

We'd walked up to Hook Farm and come here for a drink. Lots of building work going on.

My first visit to a pub for four months. After a five hour drive all the car parks in Lyme were full so we came here. Cask beer tastes so much better than the last four months worth of bottles. The Talbot Arms was busy. It was lovely weather and we sat out in the back with views over tree covered hills.

Been a while since I've been here. Jane, Catherine, Isabel and I walked up the Lyme in the showers. The pubs changed inside with the back room now tables rather than that big old leather settee they used to have.

Early afternoon weekday and it was empty more or less. We sat in the garden by a small stream.

Fruity malt taste with subtle hops. The high alcohol content made the sides of my tounge buzz but other than that the 5.8% is well hidden amongst the well constructed stucture of this beer.
A three sectioned pub in Lyme Road, with some good comfy sofas. There is a garden down some stairs and to the rear with what looks like a tea room in the far corner. Letting rooms available.
We have visited this pub 7 times, seen 8 different beers and tried 4 of them.
