Mid evening and friendly welcome with efficient staff busy but made time for us without asking. All tables either taken or reserved for diners however we were offered a table for two with a later booking which suited us perfectly and enjoyed an excellent meal.

We knew this place was open but all the doors that face on to the street were locked and you now have to enter from the car park at the rear of the pub. Hotel trade appeared to be flourishing here with many people telephoning only to be told that they were fully booked on the dates that they wanted. Very professionally run business.
