This pub had been off my radar for some time but the showers turned in to heavy rain as I was walking past so I decided to take some shelter. The busiest pub of the day so far, I felt sorry for someone who was trying to buy a small round which included something like "a white wine please" "Pinot or Sauvignon Blanc?" "I'll find out" "Sauvignon Blanc please" "Large or small?" "I'll find out" "large please and a J2O" "Orange & Passion Fruit or Apple & Mango?" "I'll go and find out" "He looked at me and said "Why can't people just have Mild or Bitter?"
This pub turned out to be very good and is back on my radar.

15:00 visit. Quite a trendy place, well converted from it's previous "proper" pub guise, whatever that might of looked like. Okay.

Just a handful of customers on a late Saturday afternoon. I had read that this is effectively the brewery tap for the Hop Fuzz brewery, and one of their beers was on.

| Hop Fuzz - The American | 4.00 | | A hoppy, golden bitter – presumably flavoured with US hops. A floral hop aroma and a bitter hop taste, but slightly spoiled by a hint of dicetyl. Not bad though for a brewery with just a 21 gallon capacity. |
