The pub is found in Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3DW.
Sheps house next to Sittingbourne railway station. Closed and boarded up for a period in 2012 but then re-opened. At July 2013 all the signing shows "A Taste of Portugal" although Shepherd Neame branding remains and the venue is still listed on the Sheps website. Clearly no longer a pub as a poster in a glass fronted cabinet by the front door says "Please note this is a Café/Restaurant. Alcohol is only served with a meal from 1100 a.m.". In May 2015 all signage removed and the building is painted anonymous white and vacant. End of the line as a pub or any other use seems inevitable? Reopened in 2016 as Lang's Bar & Cocktail Lounge with real ale availability not known.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 1 beer and tried it.
