I have noticed in recent months that it is becoming increasingly common for bar staff to say “Are you alright?”, when they come to take your order. It reached ridiculous extreme here, when I answered that I was and had enjoyed a really nice day in Brighton, expecting to then be asked what I wanted to drink, only for the barmaid to smile at me and go back to washing glasses, leaving me empty-handed. I too wish I had noted the existence of a CAMRA discount, as it was quite pricey here. Despite these gripes, this seemed a really nice pub.

13:10 Four others in. Friendly barmaid. Quirky interior. I should have read Mr Pirrip's comments before I went in. No advertising for the discount so I missed it too.

Evening. GBG 2014 entry. The CAMRA real ale discount was neither proferred nor prominently advertised here and only dicovered when home again. Expensive for area - would be expensive for London.
