The pub is found in Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 1QZ.
A former beer house which was acquired by McMullens Brewery in 1905 and is now the only surviving old building in Romeland. Despite being just a few minutes’ walk from the Abbey, it is tucked away just out of sight and so attracts a mainly local clientele.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
