The pub is found in Upchurch, Kent, ME9 7AP.
For many years a Shepherd Neame tied house in Horsham Lane but now sold into the free trade. White painted street corner village pub with a bent towards Harvey's of Lewes beers but other guests too. The pub sign photograph used here is © Copyright David Anstiss and licensed for reuse under the Creative Commons Licence. Carpeted throughout and very smart, light and clean toilets. Board games and darts. 4 handpumps on the bar counter. Reported as closing in October 2021 after receiving planning permission for conversion to housing.
We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
