The pub is found in Walthamstow, Greater London, E17 9LB.
The Castle opened in 1858, initially as a beer house. Throughout the twentieth century it was a Charrington’s house, retaining two separate bars until the 1970s and keeping its Charrington’s windows until 2006. Today it is a modernised, single bar pub with pavements tables at the front and a garden area to one side.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 3 of them.
