Evening after my trip to Hops and Dreams just to soak up the buzzy atmosphere over a swift one.
I like the way that your tab is chalked up on the bar counter in front of you - can pay and walk when you want.

Evening, very busy with tourists and locals I think. Shoulder to shoulder with plenty of people outside as well. Hobson’s choice on the beer front - the craft beer bars all appear to be further over to the west - I will try harder later in the week!

Close to the Cathedral in the centre of the old town. High ceilinged, long, thin bar on a corner site with seating outside. Tapas available of course but primarily a drinkers' bar.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
