Just before 1, out for a long cycle, came across this by chance. Stopped for a swift one. Pleasant welcome, had the feel of a traditional food-led local. Diners arriving as I supped.

The White Horse in Ruckinge Road is a beautiful old pub sitting just on the edge of the Romney Marsh, just up from the Royal Military Canal. It has a fifty seater restaurant with inglenook fireplaces and beautiful stone floors. The White Horse specialises in unusual real ales served directly from the cask and has a selection of ciders including local brews.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
