---|---|---|---|
Saltaire - Rye Smile | 3.90 | Nice beer, this. Smooth and mellow with a wheaty, cerealy body from the Rye Malt. Similar to an American Brown ale. an Excellent session choice. | |
Jennings (since closure now brewed at Marston's) - Cumberland Ale | 4.00 | Session bitter from Jennings. Nicely fruity, with a sharp edge. Always a decent pint. | |
Saltaire - Trio Pale | 4.40 | A decent enough Pale Ale, made with three kinds of hops for a peppery finish. Nicely balanced. |

The pub is found in Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS13 1EQ.
A bit of a gem - small, local pub hidden in the valley between Horsforth & Bramley. Regular rotating guest ales (I counted 5) and mini-beer festivals happening all year round. Landlord, Martin Lockett, is a friendly chap who will happily talk beer. The Abbey also host live music on weekends and do a lot of charity work. Food served. No Sports. A great pub for a good selection of beer, always in good nick.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
