---|---|---|---|
Samuel Smith's - Wheat Beer | 5.00 | Love this stuff. A great, yorkshire-brewed Wheat Beer. Cloudy, refreshing, zingy and tart, this is super on a hot day. | |
Samuel Smith's - Sovereign Best Bitter | 4.00 | Standard Best from Smiths - smoky malt and lingering bitterness. Can sometimes be served a little too cold. Filling but moreish. Good with the Sunday Roast! | |
Samuel Smith's - Pure Brewed Lager | 5.00 | I really like this, despite steering clear from Lager. For me, this shows what Lager can be - and it's brewed in the UK, too. Clean, crisp, not much hops but with a good solid malty body that you don't normaly get with Lager. Very nice. | |
Samuel Smith's - Old Brewery Bitter | 4.00 | A little nuttier than the Sovereign, but still quite filling! Nice creaminess, though. |

The pub is found in Pool in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire, LS21 1ET.
Large, Sam Smith's pub near Otley, just at the bottom of Pool Bank New Road. Refurbished and extended after a fire in the early 2000s.
We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried them all.
