Last pub on a very good crawl. ChrisE had some vouchers which gave us a hefty discount between the three of us. Buzzing and lively compared to the quieter back street locals of earlier.

The final stop on a tour of Chelmsford as already detailed by Jason. A much better choice of beers here than we expected to find, I have not listed them all. We ate here before catching a train home.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Black Sheep - Best Bitter3.80GoodIn my view one of the better Nationally available beers.

Ongoing fog has upset the trains which are all running late, so I use this pub briefly as a waiting room.

Evening. Watched the end of a televised football match on a gigantic screen.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Adnams - Southwold Bitter3.70AcceptableAs far removed from the Southwold Bitter with smell and taste like the sea as can be. This had a strange perfumed nose and taste. Almost as if it was a different beer, wrongly badged

Evening. Small crowd in considering a Brazil World Cup match was on the big screen.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Evan Evans - Artisan Craft Beer: Amarillo4.20PoorThe front clip showed no provenance so I should have avoided it. After ordering I turned the clip and there was a back fitting saying it was brewed exclusively for M&B by Archers of Wales. What is all this badge brewing about??
