We came here for food but were disappointed to find only one cask ale available. The furniture has been re-arranged and the former restaurant area is looking very Spartan which may explain why this area was under used whilst the rest of the pub was busy. The food was good but the experience was spoiled by screeching children and a yappy dog. My friend's comment was this pub appears to have been taken over by the customers.

Fairly busy with a reduced occupancy to comply with social distancing. I was allocated a table in the restaurant as the bar area was at capacity. I took the opportunity to have a meal while I was here.

A stop for lunch which was very good. We sat in the main bar overlooking the sea.

We stopped here for some solid lunch and a beer, the food was excellent but service could be improved upon.

A very hot and sunny summer day so the terrace was absolutely packed which meant that there was room inside to eat our fish and chips without being attacked by seagulls. I managed somehow to get an odd 2p on my bill which caused a minor problem as there were no copper coins in any of the tills to give me the correct change.

A stop for some food to go with our beer. The bar was fairly busy as the people who would normally sit outside were sheltering from awful weather.

No handpumps or ale here

Busy as one would expect on a nice summer day. we had hoped to dine on bubble and squeak, but unfortunately this dish does not appear on the new menu so we ate somewhere else.

This pub/hotel was the main reason for a visit to Broadstairs as they do excellent bubble and squeak, and I had a birthday voucher for a free (BOGOF) main course. A nice view of the sea, and good service.

A busy lunchtime but we were served straight away, and sat by the window overlooking the sea, and enjoyeda very tasty luncheon.
