Mistimed by arrival at the train section so popped in here to kill 10 mins. Good to see a local ale on.

Late morning visit whilst waiting for a train form the railway station opposite. I noticed that a roast beef rolls were available at £2 each so I treated myself to one of those.

Mid evening visit. Location helps to cut it fine to board a train except when realising it was leaving from over the footbridge!

Swift half before my train - not a pub that makes me want to linger.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Greene King - Hardys & Hansons Rocking Rudolph4.20AcceptableHand written pump clip. Only cask ale on.
03 Feb 2018 (Stephen Harris)
Time for a very rapid pint in here before taking the bullet train to Stratford. There are some very happy people present – the football has gone our way.
BeerABVScoreNotes
G2 - Sail4.20AcceptableA somewhat bland beer in rather limp condition.
03 Mar 2017 (Philip Pirrip)
Late evening quicky awaiting a train. The handmade Grubber clip did not tell me provenance so a half of Guinness (served through change of keg) sufficed. Live rock band was deafening but enthusiastic!

Evening brief visit as last train to London was running 6 minutes late. Had to fight to get to the bar. There was a second Otter beer pumpclip turned round on the other handpump.
