Fairly quiet late afternoon/early evening even though there was a beer festival taking place.

| Brown Cow - Vanilla Porter | 4.90 | | Superb! Best beer of 2010 so far, good taste of vanilla without overpowering the other flavours, namely some hoppiness and a little roast malt. Good lingering finish. My score 18/20. |

I really liked this pub, the curry was superb and freshly handmake, the beers were a good variety, excellent world bottle/tap list and the Phoenix Strawberry on keg blew everyone away. Would definitely come back to this pub.

The pub is found in Salford, Greater Manchester, M3 6DB.
Two roomed bar/pub in Bexley Square, in the style of a continental style bar, but with emphasis on cask ale, although many Belgian beers are also stocked. Holds mini beer festivals at the end of most months and larger events throughout the year. Winner of many local CAMRA awards. Re-opened in February 2024 after a serious makeover.
We have visited this pub 19 times, seen 68 different beers and tried 60 of them.
